Middle Leader Development Programme (MLDP)

The MLDP is a programme which helps the school `grow its own` leaders of the future, through a programme developed by the National College of School Leadership.  By enhancing the leadership effectiveness of middle leaders e.g. Heads of Department and Attainment Managers, we aim to improve the quality of teaching and learning to help raise standards across the school.

Woodside is now running the second training programme and has two trained facilitators delivering the sessions.  Fifteen staff members participated in the first cohort and currently ten staff members are registered to this group. The programme is offered to partner schools. 

The spring term dates for the programme are:
