Year 9 Aspiration Days

Prominent members of the community visited Woodside High School on Monday and Tuesday this week to give aour students an inspirational talk about their careers and achievements. Our visitors included a surgeon, a teacher, a firefighter, a criminologist, a scenic painter (for the Royal Opera House), a managing director, a lawyer and a scriptwriter (for a major TV soap opera).

Our students were given an opportunity to speak to our guests and question them on the paths their careers have taken.  It was an inspirational day for our students who are at a major crossroads of their educational career as they embark on their KS4 option choices.
