Year 7 Athletics Champions

On the 12th and the 26th of January 2012, the year 7 boys and girls Athletics team took part in the Haringey indoor athletics championship, which was held at St Thomas More School. In the first round the boys came fourth and the girls came first. However, in the final round, the boys were overpowered and lost points in the running events but the girls made up the majority of their points in the field events and once again retained their title as champions.

Woodside High School girls athletics team will now be representing  Haringey at the next regional stage of the school games in Edmonton. Excellent effort girls, you never gave up and you showed what anyone can achieve through hard work and determination, keep up the great work.
